Sheffield City Region

Background

The LEP is based on a relationship between the public and private sector and a strong commitment to work together to ensure the growth of a rebalanced local economy.  The LEP is led by the private sector and aims to contribute significantly to the renewal of the national economy as a whole.  It works across a geographical area that reflects the economic reality, incorporating parts of North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas that are important to the Sheffield City Region economy. The LEP Board provides strategic economic leadership and direction to efforts to grow the economy.
