New Anglia LEP launch new business network to support local businesses
New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and business consultants WLP are launching a new initiative to help small businesses grow
The Business Advocates programme is a new network of professional services companies from across Suffolk and Norfolk, who are linking up to deliver information to help grow their small and medium-sized clients.
Succinct, monthly briefings on 3 or 4 key initiatives will be created by New Anglia and emailed to each Business Advocate to pass onto their clients.
This enables Business Advocates to give added value to their clients and provide timely, useful information to the companies, as well as giving businesses the chance to feedback their key concerns to New Anglia.
The Business Advocates programme will be officially launched at a breakfast event on Friday 18th May at Hethel Engineering Centre, Norfolk and will be attended by 80 people.
Andy Wood, Chairman of New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership who will be launching Business Advocates at the event, said:
“This is a pioneering programme which will help New Anglia engage with small and medium sized businesses and give them information to help them grow.
“Business Advocates will also be invited to feed back to us important issues which are affecting clients. Client confidentiality is paramount; so we’re not asking for details, but would like to know what business challenges are emerging.
“This will help New Anglia advocate for our business community when we speak to influential people in Westminster and Europe.”
