Reminder over online support for businesses
People looking to set up a business and existing Black Country companies are being urged to make the most of an improved online service
Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership bosses are reminding people in the area to make the most of support on offer through the business link website at www.businesslink.gov.uk
The Business Link website has been enhanced to provide firms with the information and guidance they need to start, manage, and improve their businesses.
Simple to use, up to date and practical, Business Link offers guidance on regulations and information on how to access government services. It also has a number of useful online tools, calculators, best practice case studies and provides access to funding options.
Mike Dell, Black Country LEP board lead for business support and advice, said:
“Following the closure of the regional offices of Business Link it is important that people and businesses are aware that Business Link is still available online. The website is one of many resources available to Black Country businesses in helping them get off the ground and achieve continued growth.”
Councillor Darren Cooper, leader of Sandwell Council and LEP board member, said:
“There are a number of organisations working across the Black Country to support businesses. This website is certainly one tool people can utilise to access information on a range of topics from starting up a business to accessing finance.”
