Open Access to Finance Forum: Sandwell
Local
Location: Black Country
Date: 17/01/12
Black Country businesses are being urged not to miss out on an event later this month aimed at giving them better access to finance.
The Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership’s series of Open Access to Finance Forums will visit Sandwell on Tuesday January 17.
The forum follows hugely successful events in Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall, which led to around 100 small businesses receiving advice and support and accessing funding.
The events are supported by the Black Country local authorities and organised by the Black Country Reinvestment Society. The Sandwell event will be held at Sandwell Council House in Freeth Street, Oldbury from 1.15 to 3pm.
Financial bodies exhibiting and offering support at the events include commercial banks, corporate financiers, law firms, business and financial advisors, small business loan funds, accountants and business schools.
As a result of the three events held in recent months a total of 99 small firms in the area have received advice on accessing finance to support their business.
The first event in Dudley in September attracted 44 local businesses while a further 21 companies received support at the event in Wolverhampton during October. And during November 34 Black Country firms turned out at the Walsall event to get direct access to financial organisations exhibiting at the event.
All businesses are welcome to attend the free event and can register their interest now at [email protected] or call 0845 313 8410.
