LEPs growth and EU funds event

The European Funding Network and Regional Voices are organising an event for LEPs on the 25th of September on the future European Structural and Investment Funds strategies – due to be submitted to government in October. 

This half day conference (10am until 1pm) will introduce LEPS to key experts and providers of European funding to inform the development of the European Structural and Investment Fund strategies. 

Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) will learn how civil society organisations can provide expertise in the following key priority areas:

  • Social inclusion and match funding
  • Social Innovation
  • Community Led Local Development (CLLD)
  • Volunteer time as match funding in kind
  • Financial Instruments

There will also be an opportunity to:

  • Discuss the opt-in prospectuses with the Big Lottery Fund
  • Hear from other potential match-funders
  • Get the latest information from government officials
  • Share best practice from the sector and LEPs which are already working together
