International Festival for Business 2014

In June and July 2014 the UK will hold its first ever International Festival for Business, the purpose of which is to accelerate the nation’s economic growth, deliver foreign and direct investment and increase exports.

The International Festival in 2014 is an exciting convergence between innovative thinking, government policy and our will to win – it will connect the smartest entrepreneurial minds and best business opportunities in the world.

Over 50 days and across all business sectors - from maritime to manufacturing, logistics & energy to professional & financial services - there will be hundreds of outstanding high quality events, on an unprecedented scale,  creating deals, forging relationships and providing real support for businesses to access national and international opportunities.

Backed by UK government, IFB 2014 will cast a light on the spheres of commercial endeavour that are transforming the new economies and business landscapes of Britain and beyond.

Support for the Festival comes from across the business world including the CBI, the Federation for Small Businesses, UKTI and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and among those from overseas - the Middle East Association, China Britain Business Council, International Business & Diplomatic Exchange, the Russian Federal Centre for Project Finance and the Confederation of Indian Industry.

Registration for the IFB 2014 is now open and businesses of all sizes are invited to get directly involved to derive maximum benefit from what, in the words of the Prime Minister David Cameron “is going to be an event on an unprecedented scale…. and a shop window like no other….”
