David has chaired the LEP Network since it went live in late July 2011. He spearheads engagement with LEP Chairs, leaders of other national and local business organisations, and other interested bodies. David was Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce from January 2003 to September 2011. Prior to this he was Chief Executive of Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and Business Link. David is Chairman of the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship. He is a Vice Chairman of Ufi/ Learn Direct and also a member of the National Employer Advisory Board for the Reserve Forces. In February 2008 David received an Honorary Doctorate from Birmingham City University and in 2011 New Year Honours David received a CBE for services to business. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Lorna project manages the LEP Network on a day to day basis. She is currently Senior Economic Development officer at the Borough of Poole and Trustee on the Board of Centre for Local Economic Strategies. Previously Lorna worked for Yorkshire Forward, the South West RDA and an EEDA-funded project. Most recently Lorna worked for the South West Observatory as Local Economic Assessment Coordinator. Lorna holds a BSc in Sociology and MSc in Social Research from the University of Leicester as well as a Graduate Diploma in Law from University of the West of England.

Suzanne is the Events and Web Communications Administrator for the LEP Network. Suzanne manages the website and provides administrative and editorial support for the monthly newsletter and events. She is also responsible for keeping the LEP Network's social media up-to-date.

Suzanne graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA (Hons) in Print Journalism.
