GC&GP; LEP showcase innovative way of aligning evidence base for priorities
The Greater Cambridge & Greater Peterborough (GC&GP) LEP has used a high-speed, low-cost and largely on-line approach to align its evidence base on a 3D visual platform.
With 13 districts across four local authorities, the LEP has used a new way to visualise large quantities of data from multiple sources. This process of aligning the data has been used to build common understanding of the LEP and accelerate collaboration between stakeholders.
The project started in September and completed in December 2011. Increased agility and collaboration between LEP partners is sought as is the ability to present a clear picture of the LEP amongst partners and to funders. The LEP’s stakeholders and members of the public can now see the visual model through Google Earth and watch short fly-through movie clips showing the GC&GP LEP’s challenges and priorities.
You can see the results of the 3D model below, as well as one of the fly-through clips.
